AMPP (collectif d'Appui aux mouvements des premiers peuples)
AMPP is a collective supporting First Peoples' movements through action, awareness, and Indigenous leadership. We emphasize Nehirowisiw solidarity, or solidarity with all members of the Atikamekw Nation, and the amplification of decolonial struggles.

Decolonial Solidarity
Decolonial Solidarity seeks to support front-line Land Defenders in their struggles against colonialism and extractivism. The project was put together by a team of settler and allied activists in response to a call-to-action from Wet’suwet’en Land Defenders following the RCMP invasion of their land in November of 2021. As allies, we are directly accountable to frontline Land Defenders who communicate with our organizing team. They ultimately approve or veto our goals, strategy, tactics, and targets.

Restive
Restive deepens, educates about, and facilitates restorative practices. Restorative practices emphasize repairing harm done to people and relationships, rather than punishing people. Goldjian, a queer immigrant from France, started Restive because of their high concern for how we treat, punish, exile, and shame each other in queer, artistic and activist communities and their desire to make space for grieving and support. Rather than being asked to become accountable in a punitive culture, it’s easier to take responsibility when there is space made for conflict and we as communities know how to approach conflict together.

Scaffold
Scaffold develops support structures for work that is valuable, but not profitable. We aim to create conditions for value-driven work—such as that of VC Residents—to thrive without relying on traditional funding models. By emphasizing community-based solutions and aligning with the values of those involved, Scaffold aspires to make it easier for people to pursue the work they feel is necessary and meaningful with integrity and care. We do this by identifying unmet needs and prototyping practical and relational infrastructures to meet them.

Science for the People
Science for the People (SftP) is committed to the extension and democratization of science beyond the walls of traditional elitist institutions. It aims to develop a theory and practice of science both by and for the people, in opposition to a science directed by corporate greed and imperialism. This SftP chapter in so-called "Canada" is building a network of radical scientists (and friends of science), both inside and outside of establishment institutions, who seek to learn and work in the anti-capitalist tradition, comprising feminist, anti-imperialist, and anti-racist class struggles.
